July 24 2025 - 25 years celebration in Vienna

25 years celebration of Austrian-Malaysian Society at the atelier of Thean Chi Chan in Vienna. His excellency Ikram Mohammad Ibrahim, ambassador for Malaysia in Vienna, his excellency Gerhard Eisl, designated ambassador of Austria in Malaysia, Dr Alfred Gerstl, president of Austrian-vietnamese Society and Ron Willis, president of Club der Handelsräte joined the party.

 

4.12.2024 - Malaysia-Austria business networking luncheon

4 December – H.E. Ambassador Ikram Bin Mohammad Ibrahim hosted a Malaysia-Austria business networking luncheon with senior figures of Austrian companies and organisations, namely the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber/Advantage Austria, ANDRITZ Hydro, AT&S, Lohmann & Rauscher International, PAYER Group (Malaysian-owned) and Sumetzberger, as well as Germany/Austria-Malaysia Roundtable Forum and Austria-Malaysia Society.
The event was also attended by our colleagues from MIDA Munich (Mr. Wan Farulnizam Bin Wan Mohd Faizul and Ms. Silviya Irgyanova) and MATRADE Frankfurt (Mr. Mohamad Termizi Bin Piee).

25.02.2024 - ASEAN-UNINET-Conference in Penang

Gerhard Berka took part as representant of ÖMG at the ASEAN - UNINET Meeting in Penang on Feb 25 and 26. Talks with Prof Dato Gs Dr Narimah Samat, President of UNINET and Andreas Launer, Austrian ambassador in Malaysia.

25.5.2023 - Invitation to exhibition

At May 25 members of the Austrian-Malaysian Society were invited to the exhibition of the artwork of Mr. Ken Yang, a Paris-based Malaysian artist in the Malaysia-house in Vienna.

Am 3. Oktober war die österreichisch-malaysische Gesellschaft Gast bei der einzigen Silberschmied Österreichs. Jabolinski&Vaugoin sind Hoflieferanten für Fürstenhöfe in Europa und vor allem in Malaysia.

05.04.2022 - Malaysia-Day in Vienna

On April 5th the first real event of the Austrian-Malaysian Society took place at Otto-Mauer-Zentrum in Vienna. Hon. Ikram Mohammad Ibrahim, Gerhard Berka and ass Prof Ille Gebeshuber presented special impressions of Malaysia. Mr Mark Macqueen moderated this event.
